How do you know if someone has completed an Ironman?  They’ve told you!

How do you know if someone has completed an Ironman?  They’ve told you!

Competing in — let alone completing — an Ironman race is a story worth telling.  But the race itself is only one chapter of the narrative. The training, the nutrition, the schedule, the friends and family along the way are equally a part of any Ironman’s story.

ADD a chapter to your Ironman epic!  When you make your way to the Roanoke Valley, pitch your tent at St. Philip Lutheran Church (located just two miles from the race start at Carvin’s Cove).  We have 8 acres of beautiful valley land, with stunning sunrises over the mountains and great conveniences nearby.  Starting on Thursday night, June 4th, hang out with other athletes and their families and share experiences — it will make your Ironman story all the better.  You want a truly local experience for your pre-race meal?  Saturday night a delicious chicken and pasta meal will be served at the church.  AND all camping and meal fees will be designated to provide food assistance to the people of Malawi, Africa (named the poorest country in the world in 2018). Your Ironman story becomes a part of an even bigger one.
