Once home to native tribes, Pocahontas kin is even buried nearby. Later, the property was deeded as Cobb's plantation and saw action as a civil war river lookout.  Walthall creek is the old channel, that once carried supplies to soldiers and a school for the blind. Now, a quiet passage for kayaks and recreational boats it is a retreat you will certainly revisit!

We are nestled on 5 acres neighbored by a county park (with yummy woods and trails) and a few good-hearted neighbors. Just steps away from camping is a grand dock loaded with a tiki bar, propane grill, and an endless waterway!  Seasonal garden veggies, herbs and lots of southern warmth await you!

Bring your boat, bike, kayak, fishing rod, floaty, some delish eats and you are all set! (Or you can borrow ours!

Summer guests may have opportunities to learn to ski, wakeboard, go tubing and more! Boat taxi to a romantic riverside 5 start restaurant also available by request.
