Great Campsite
This was our second time staying at Harmony Tree Farm. The space is beautiful and has some really helpful amenities like benches, work table, firewood, port-a-potty, and a non-potable spigot. There are plenty of flat spaces for your tent. Also within a close drive of Shenandoah National Park. Be mindful of the 4pm fire ban during some months of the year.

Great Property and Host
I had a fantastic stay at Matthew’s property despite some challenging weather. The campsite is easy to find, clean, and the porta potty was spotless. This property also offers a good level of privacy. Matthew was welcoming and even provided some firewood. He was also helpful and updated me on the local conditions prior to my arrival since a fire had broken out in Shenandoah National Park the day before, and I was concerned about smoke. Luckily it wasn’t a problem. Some non potable water is available. This came in handy when cleaning up a few pieces of gear after a pretty good rainstorm. There are multiple spots for setting up a tent. Someone in a previous review mentioned someone on an adjacent property target shooting. I heard it once for a couple hours or so on Saturday, but no big deal. To me that’s just the sound of freedom. I will definitely return to this great property!

Great spot, Matt has thought of everything. Clean porta potty, cozy fire pit with lots of seating, firewood provided, short trail to the river, and plenty of peace and quiet. Will definitely camp again👍🏼

Hazel River - Harmony Tree Farm
We loved tent camping on Matthew's land! The site was really great, with a few good places to set up a tent, and the prep table plus fire pit and benches were nice. We brought a maul and there was plenty of wood to split for the fire. The portajohn on site was really clean. It was a great setup, and we had a great time!
