We have 5 acres of mixed fields & woods, just starting to develop it for a farm & campground. We are within easy distance to Downtown Lexington, yet it feels super remote. Chessie Trail and Maury river are close by...

Great and beautiful place to camp! Large and very nice grassfield, right next to a small creek. Dirk and the family are great hosts. Around the area there are two beautiful small trails with views of the surrounding hills. We spent a great day with a hike to the Natural Bridge, swimming in the James River, finishing of at Hull's Drive-in Cinema. Great camping spot, great host, would definitely recommend!

Come rain or shine; this is a good spot!
At the lower site, downhill, lots of privacy.
We drove the Blue Ridge Parkway and this was a nice stopover, lovely surroundings. You can have nice walks from here.
Dirk and his wife are very helpful.

We got in just after sunset and left shortly after rise but the site was everything we needed in a nice place to pitch a tent for the night.

We arrived after dark and our hosts were very kind to come out and show us how best to get to the site and where we could set up. The site was very pleasant, flat, with a fire ring provided and toilets inside the house offered. Would definitely recommend as a great stopover campsite
