Copperstack is our forever home! After 30 plus years traveling the world as a military family, Copperstack is the homestead of our dreams that we would’ve loved to raise all our children. With our children largely grown, it is the blend of countless experiences from around the world. Paul and I wake each morning and see the idealistic blend of living in southern Germany, growing up in New York and vacationing in central Maine. Distinctly unique in each season of the year, Copperstack sits in the heartland of Fauquier county minutes from historic Marshall VA, Sky Meadows Park, Blue Ridge Mountains, and the Appalachian trail. We invite you to share a glass of wine, community and tranquility with us. Learn more about this land: Cooperstack residing on a dirt road would cause some to feel they are stepping back to a more primitive and undeveloped lifestyle. But don’t be fooled; the grounds include a sauna, jacuzzi, hiking paths, meditation areas, a yoga platform, along with several fire pits for outdoor enjoyment. Our homestead is also fortunate to have Belvedere & Piggy Smalls( our pigs:), three goats, chickens, and ducks! We are a working homestead, so Cinnamon, our rooster, may wake you up! There is never a dull day at Copperstack, so look for us around the homestead taking care of our animal friends, doing chores, or enjoying a glass of wine! Cooperstack is the centerpiece of where dreams and reconnection to nature begins….Our family homestead that we wish to share. Relax or visit the many wineries/breweries and quaint towns. Near state parks. Beautiful roads for motorcycle riding and biking. Each rustic campsite requires a walk on hilly terrain to access. All amenities are shared with guests included toilets and shower. As much or little contact for your comfort! We can meet and greet. If preferred, we"ll provide a detailed text/email including site and mudroom directions. You are welcomed to bring your leashed pet but be aware we have several friendly dogs on the property that may come up to you for a treat! • • • • • Copperstack is within 15 minutes of some of the finest wineries in Virginia! Paul and I love a good glass of wine so let us know when you book, and we can send some suggestions of wineries, give you information on the local events, and if you'd like, create a day itinerary. ⛺ Campsite description: • Rayne- 1st site of main path. Copperstack Homestead
Perfect Balance
Lisa and Paul were great hosts! The location was nestled between Virginia’s wine country and lots of natural parks, so there is plenty to do nearby during the day. Any amenities you can think of, Lisa and Paul have likely already incorporated them into your experience. And if it’s not available, they will do their best to accommodate your request. Copperstack homestead is the perfect balance for those individuals who love camping and enjoy nature, but appreciate the finer things in life too! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Great getaway!
Lisa and Paul were perfect hosts and made sure everything was taken care of. Beautiful property with plenty of shade. We stayed at the Rayne site, the first one along the path, which looks like it was the most level and easily accommodated our larger tent and other set up. The trek from the parking spot to the site is no joke, so pack light if you're used to car camping. * Tip #1: Leave all your bathhouse items in your vehicle so you're not trekking back and forth with them. * Tip #2: Lisa and Paul provide a cooler with potable water, so I wasted a lot of energy lugging my 50lbs of water up and down the hills. * Tip #3: If you're bougie like we were (cuz we're really car campers) they have a utility vehicle that can haul your stuff in and out of the sites. This place looks like it will be absolutely beautiful in autumn; hope we can make it back!!

Copperstack Homestead
Lisa and her family are wonderful people and great hosts with a beautiful property. From the time we showed up until the time we left they were very communicative and helpful about our stay. The amenities they offered were excellent and the shared spaces well cleaned. The attention to detail was extremely thought out. People with mobility issues might want to contact them before booking a trip as the walk from the campsite to the parking area is quite steep in a few areas and might not be suitable, but otherwise I would highly recommend. Their animals are also precious and a nice bonus to the experience in my opinion.

Copperstack Homestead
Beautiful, perfect getaway
This homestead was absolutely beautiful and so serene. The amount of thought and care that was put into everything was so incredibly appreciated. Wonderful to be allowed access to a bathroom/shower/hot tub/sauna. We camped next to the animals which my daughter adored. & The host was extremely kind, allowed my daughter to visit with her baby chicks. I hope we can stay here again one day when we can just relax and enjoy the setting. We are so grateful we were able to visit, even though our stay was short.
