Looking for lakeside retreat without all the crazy water activities soaking your tent in the morning? Claytor Lake State Campground is the perfect solution. Here, you are just a short walk to the shimmering waters of Claytor Lake, but tucked away enough for that privacy and seclusion that you crave. Head out to the lake for some fishing, swimming, and shoreline relaxation, then stroll back to your tent for a good night’s sleep. Seriously, doesn’t get much better than that.

A really nice camp site with clean modern bath houses - some of the camp sites are fairly close to one another but if you check out all four loops you can find the perfect site. A short walk down the hill takes you to the huge lake, bath house, snack bar and swimming area with diving platform. Covered picnic areas with bathrooms nearby make it the perfect place for family gatherings
