#2 Meadow View
We had a great time this weekend! First time camping in 30 years! We had the cutest welcome on our picnic table-a dozen eggs, a jar of honey and some fresh picked flowers in a basket. Our site was nicely cleared and flat. The toilet was a short walk and the potable water was easily accessed as well. We brought our own firewood, but needed more, and James delivered it to us right away. We had a nice walk around the farm. We didn’t take advantage of the canoes due to the high winds that day, but definitely will do that next time. We will be back!

Hidden Gem
Amazing spot hidden beauty! Campsite 4 is a short walk from the parking spot, but secluded and peaceful. Our dogs loved the openness and water views! James is a superior host. Attentive and you can tell he loves his land. The shop is adorable!!!!!! I bought these chocolates that were to die for! They got me with the pig shaped chocolate on top!
The chickens talk right at 7am and you can hear the peacock start about 3pm. No need for clocks here! Can't wait to come back and use the kayaks!!

The Blackwater Bungalow
Comfortable and Relaxing Glamping
We had a great time at The Blackwater Bungalow! James wasn't there but his mom took great care of us! They were responsive to any issues (including accidently locking ourselves out once!) The space was very comfortable. We used the space heater for about an hour at a time a few times so that we could warm up a little big from the gloomy weather, and that made a world of difference.
The land and property was very fun to explore. The goats were really friendly. We were there when it was cold & rainy so there weren't any tent campers around and so the space was really quiet and relaxing and we were able to roam and explore without running into any one at all (not that we would have minded!)
We used the canoe a little bit but there are lots of boats to choose from! If it wasn't so cold and rainy we might have done more boating.
We didn't use the loft area but that looked comfy and spacious. The kitchenette area was good enough for us to make a couple simple meals with pots & pans, silverware, bowls, plates, a French press, dishwashing supplies and some cooking utensils.
The "outhouse" was definitely a step-above what you traditionally think of as an outhouse with a flushing toilet.
There's a little "shop" on the property that's open 24/7 where you can go pick up some basic supplies, and some goodies & gifts, and just Venmo or Cash App James, so that was super convenient and nice to have!

#4 Blackwater Ridge
What a fantastic find! Such an awesome experience. Cozy site, tucked back and private. Perfect fishing spots for the kids and a cute little farm shop. We really enjoyed walking around and exploring the property. Overall our stay was perfect! We've camped all over and this may be one of our favorite spots, we will be back!
