Welcome to our little slice of Heaven on earth. We are conveniently located minutes from I-95 in the Hartwood area of Fredericksburg.

Our current camping spot is located in our large horse field where you could pull in your small camper and set up camp. We have a small fire pit out near the tree in this field. It offers line of site to our house as well as the road but it still gives you a feel of country. You will hear the crow of our roosters and the snorts of the farms horses. We hope to open up other spots in the future.

We are located close to historic down town Fredericksburg and some local battlefields. Around the corner is a small local winery as well.

We do run a small hobby farm so you will encounter our friendly horses, dogs, and chickens. !

At night you will be able to enjoy gazing up at the stars with little to no light pollution.

Though we do have views of a couple neighbors property’s you will still feel like your in the country.

Private site in front of a farmhouse. Matt and Julie were very nice and allowed my four year old to pet their horses and see their baby chickens and ducks. While there were no other campers nearby, the site is 20 feet from two-lane blacktop. There is not a lot of traffic on the road, but be aware that it is not total seclusion. There was a fair amount of noise while we were there; mowers, dogs, cars, target practice; which is to be expected on any summer afternoon.

Agape Farm is a great place to camp and is in a great location that is convenient to many popular historic sites. The campsite itself is in a fenced field and had very little light pollution (an amateur astronomers dream!). Julie, the host, made the whole process a breeze through quick, effective communication. I would be happy to camp at Agape farm again!

Julie was wonderful and her little farm was quaint. I got to interact with turkeys, ducks, and chickens. The horses are beautiful. Finally, the dogs were fun to watch, one huge dog and one little dog (who thinks he's huge) guarded the place.

The site was well set back from the road. Julie is working on clearing some trees to help the farm grow.

Julie is the most awesome host/person I've met but never met. If you're like me an outdoors person who gets cabin fever easily while quarantined. This is the ideal camp its brilliantly set up in the context of social distancing . All in all it was a relief coming from camping in the frigid mountains to the farm.

I will be back again, just hope I didnt text Julie to death with excitement over my new dog.

Julie and her husband were great hosts - we were met at the gate and given a tour of the property where we could stay. The field in the front was a nice area, and had a fire pit for us to use. This was a great option while we were trying to avoid crowds at state parks and other campsites.

Perfect location to camp for the night without adding much of a detour off 95. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful! And the animals are such a treat - our dog loved meeting their friendly dog Patton, and he stood in awe of the horses and the Anatolian Shepherd, Bradley, all night. It was so cool to see his wonder as a city dog! The site was clean, flat, and comfortable. We even made a little fire even though it was a warm night. We appreciated the hospitality very much!

Julie was amazing and so accommodating this weekend. They provided wood even in the middle of the night when the original provide firewood got rained on. She allowed us to pet her horses and to see the chickene which was a great addition. Literslly the sweetest host we could have asked for. Really nice area and pretty quiet and felt pretty safe during our stay. The one thing that we notice which we should have been expecting since it is a farm area was the piles of horse poop in the area. Would still definitely recommend for those looking for a nice relaxing getaway.

Matt and Julie were great! My son and I got a quick tour of the farm to meet the horses, dogs and chickens and had a great time spending a night there. The little fire pit was great and we were able to buy dry firewood from a neighbor. The spot is a little close to the road, but there's barely any traffic.
