Nice quiet campsite that was easy to find. Super handy to have the drop toilets and undercover area (which we used when there was a downpour). It was a convenient location to base ourselves for a few days while we explored. Nice big firepit area with seating & pet friendly site too.

Our second Easter at Wabonga and we had another great trip. The shelter was great for the really hot days. Bruce was super helpful as always. 8 humans, 4 dogs, space for us all with complete privacy. Highly recommend.

Awesome camping
Terrific camping location. We took our kids camping for the first time and they had a ball.. Very dog/pet friendly. Great facilities if needed. Would highly recommend. Thank you Bruce.

Great location
The location of this property was fantastic and it was pretty idyllic sitting on the back porch in the late afternoon and around the fire at night. Its just a few k's from Cheshunt where there's a good general store and a good spot to jump in the river. And close to loads of wineries and other swimming holes.
We really appreciated the shelter on our rainy first night and the basic kitchen facilities and dishwashing areas came in handy.
The only thing I'd say is the swimming options talked about on the website weren't really options. The dam was unappealing (although there was a snake happily swimming) and we couldn't find a creek or river access on the property.

Wabonga Camp was excellent as ever! Beautiful spot, cracking sunsets and great stars at night. Bruce is helpful and responsive to any queries. Handy kitchen set up as well.

Private spot in the valley!
Loved our time here! This was a beautiful spot to have all to ourselves. There was plenty of wildlife, including lots of birds and kangaroos which came out on sunset. We enjoyed wandering down to the dam and hanging out by the water watching the kangaroos.
Having a toilet onsite was a bonus, so was the shelter and although we didn't need it, it would be handy if the weather turned like it had just a few days before our visit.
The site is perfect for anyone from a solo trip to larger groups, and there was enough space for a bus to turn around.
