Plenty of options for caravans, camper trailers, vehicles and tents. Camping areas are around the large dam, or by the smaller dam where recently installed nesting boxes have encouraged flying foxes and red rosellas to move in. And there is a water rat living there...looked friendly. Mirrengatta is quiet and private, but close to many attractions within the Goldfields region

What a cracker of a spot! I didn’t want to give five stars, because that’d Just make it harder to get a spot next time! Lorraine was a wonderful host, who went out of her way to ensure we had a ripper Easter, and we did! Can’t wait to come back soon.
My daughter and I had a great time. We were warmly welcomed at the gate and given the lay of the land with a range of spots to camp. Lorraine even dropped by with coits and boules and a couple of yabby traps.Spent the weekend drifting around in the canoe and nibbling fresh snap peas. Recommended
My friends and I had a great time staying on the property. Lorraine and her partner were accommodating and helpful when needed (even helping us out with a broken stove top) but also kept their distance. We also enjoyed a day in nearby Clunes at the Sunday market which was a short 15 minute drive.
Get away from it all in the bush! Nice peaceful camping spot with plentiful firewood and designated fireplace. Lorraine is a lovely welcoming host and we thoroughly enjoyed the peas and other bits she gave us from her veg garden. Simple basic campsite from which to explore the surrounds. Recommended
Just spent two peaceful nights beside the dam on this delightful property. The bag of home produce containing eggs, herbs, tomatoes and honey delivered to our site by Lorraine was much appreciated. Would highly recommend a stay on this property.
