Boolarra Community Hotel was acquired by the Boolarra community several years ago, with residents chipping in to take shares in ownership. We welcome travellers to enjoy our town experience our hospitality! We have 5 acres with bar and bistro facilities in the rural hamlet of Boolarra, Victoria. Amenities available 24hrs (shared toilets and showers). Limited fire barrels available - ask the host for availability when booking. Firewood not available, please bring your own.

    Irritating but fun
    - Kevin is a great host. - The lady was a bit mean! She tried to charge us (4 adults, 4 kids) $80 for toilet for one night. - Pizza was too salty, we bought 3 large pizzas (2 x pepperonis and 1 x margarita) and couldn’t finish even one of them. - The live music was a good fun.

    Hidden Gem
    Wonderful stay! We enjoyed it so much we went back the following weekend. Friendly locals, great pub and great food... A hidden gem!

    Great place.. warm and friendly hosts/ pub. Great band on Saturday night. Only downfall was the weather.. rained all weekend so no fire pit.. We were going to take our bikes And do the rail trail but weather stopped us..

    Great value and nice spot.
    Yep, good. I would go back. - Excellent value!! Like free camping without the problem of having to roll the dice on how crazy the campsite is going to get. - Toilets and showers good. - Nice quiet campsite with views of hills around - Good playground & green space with public bbq in town, 100m away - Pub food is good, meals came out pretty quick. - Hosts very friendly and accommodating

    Most campsites have lovely views over paddocks. Such a convenient location to explore local area and beyond with the convenience of shower, toilet and pub at your doorstep. Lovely friendly staff and would definitely recommend.
