Scott’s farm is beyond special and adorable. He has several different types of animals and you can camp amongst all of them, or if you prefer something more private there are 140 acres of woods surrounding the farms with ponds and trails that all all yours to camp and explore.

The host was nearby and reachable for all of our questions s and graciously offered his shower/bathroom and a sink for us to use at our leisure.

This was a great experience and we recommend you try it out for yourself!

One of several inviting gathering areas scattered about the space.Awesome tent pad and BBQ spot! You can find several ponds around.Plenty of space to sit and watch the animals!

We had an excellent time at Scott's farm. The animals were adorable, the farm is beautiful, and Scott was a lovely host. Since we were staying there during the pandemic, Scott took extra safety measures, checking our temperature when we arrived and keeping his distance from us to keep him and us safe. We were also the only people on the site (there are typically 3 groups at once). We felt very safe, protected and comfortable. It was an awesome way to get a break from the current situation without breaking social distancing guidelines. Highly recommend!!

These two were super friendly. They walked right up to us and let us pet them and say hello.Scott lent us a saw so that we could chop up firewood, we had an awesome fire every night! Three of the alpacas hanging out by Scott's garage. All of the money spent on the trip goes to supporting the animals!Reading and enjoying the sunshine by one of the ponds on the property!

My partner and I LOVED our experience at this campground! There were many things to look at and enjoy on the property- including the animals, scenery, structures, starry skies, and decorations. Even the trip to the outhouse was an adventure. There is plenty of property and privacy for multiple sites in busier times, but I especially enjoyed the serenity of being the only campers under Covid protocols.

The host was very helpful, and the directions were easy to follow. What followed was a charming mix of adventure, humor, and enlightenment. We will definitely be back! Multiple times!

Walking onto Scott's property feels like stepping into a magical place. Open fields with free ranging barnyard friends everywhere. Plenty of areas to pitch a tent, and plenty of seated areas to hang out in. It was quite a refrshing experience. We will definitely be back!

For an in "tents" experience stay at Willoughby Farm. My favorite part was the donkeys. Make sure you bring them some carrots.

Great for families. Host was very accommodating. As well as giving you your own space and privacy. If you enjoy farm animals and camping this will be your nirvanna

Scott was a generous and welcoming host and I’d recommend his site for anyone traveling or passing through the area. It is within an hour and a half of many hiking trails and lakes. You can camp in the forest for more privacy, or you can camp in with the animals and have access to a fire pit with grate, a table and chairs, and an electrical outlet. WiFi was on from 4-midnight and extended through the backyard.

Our time here was very memorable. We are huge animal lovers so this was just perfect for us, our only downside was not staying longer so we had more time to play with the animals! The farm was LGBT friendly was a warm surprise to us that we greatly appreciated! It was a beautiful location and closer to needed stores than we expected so that was a plus. Some of the animals are in different sections, and near the main hanging out are (with tables, chairs, and firepit), they are there too, we completely loved that just keep in mind that obviously then there might be poop scattered. We appreciated being so close to the animals, though be aware some of them like to run around in the dark near you, nothing wrong, just don't be surprised if you hear in the night that it's them and not anything else! It actually gave us comfort knowing they were around. I know we would have preferred the firepit closer to the main hang out area, but we didn't mind going down the hill a little.
I always prefer listings that have bathrooms, though I would have rathered known prior to booking, going to the outdoor bathroom required going over a ladder. Obviously, you're camping, but in the middle of the night that isn't my preference. I will say, they offer the use of their bathroom which really helped us. I did feel very awkward going into their home to use it, but we're shy people so I'm sure others wouldn't feel the same. The mentioning of their cameras was more times than we expected, though we completely understood it, it was just a little awkward for us. I cannot blame them though. It did make things confusing for us, as they mention skinny dipping, but not knowing where cameras were we were not comfortable considering it (though we're shy, so then again we probably wouldn't have considered anyways)
We really appreciated their kindness and it really helped brighten our trip. I would definitely recommend camping here, I mean who doesn't love waking up to donkeys!

This is the ladder for the bathroom, you climb this and then up the hill is an open toilet. You have some coverage from the trees. Vermont Farm Animal RescueVermont Farm Animal RescueVermont Farm Animal Rescue
