Camp clementine was such a beautiful home base for our paddling and hiking adventures. The sun rise over the kingdom was absolutely stellar. Ashley and Mike were gracious, helpful, and kind. What a nostalgic treat!
We stayed in a variety of Hipcamps over a week long road trip. This was hands down our favorite! Room for the pups to roam and walk back on the trails, an awesome setup for sleeping, access to a much needed actual shower, and million dollar views we will never forget. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer!!
It's a wonderful spot in deep Vermont. Super green. The camper was very cute. My teammates wanted me to write specially about the toilet- it's really good compared to any regular camping spots. If you are new at camping, this is a spot I specially recommend.
They have a very cute little pond. The water was clear and cold, so the quick shower was very refreshing! And ofcourse, that spectacular view!!
Ashley and Mike were welcoming. Thanks for having us. Vermont is far from us, or I would revisit the spot very often! It was a great experience!
Magical northern vermont oasis
We had a wonderful time at Camp Clementine! The campsite was perfectly set up and ready for us upon arrival and was overall just a really great place to hangout during the day/come back to after a day of hiking/kayaking, etc. The fireflies in the hay fields were like nothing I’ve ever seen before, and waking up to watch the sunrise over the fields was dreamy. We didn’t get a chance to swim in the pond, but it looked very refreshing. Ashley and Mike were wonderful hosts, we can’t wait to come back this Northern Vermont oasis sometime soon.
Ashley & Mike were great hosts! We were greeted by Ashley and she showed us around the property. Also upon booking they sent an extensive list of things to do around the area and where to get groceries which was helpful. Clementine is in view of their house but it is still a private space and there is a picnic table, charcoal grill, and a fire pit. The bathroom is is in the lower level of their house but it is private to guests and it is super clean. There is a pond on their property you can take a dip in (super cold and refreshing) and the view is stunning. Cell service is slim to none (Verizon) but it felt good to be disconnected! Thank you for having us!
Wonderful place, enjoyed being in nature but close enough to have a regular bathroom and shower. Our dog loved having freedom to be off leash. Swimming pond was good to. Thank you to the hosts who were great!
Camping with dogs
Had a wonderful time at Camp Clementine in Vermont celebrating my wife's 40th birthday. The bus was very clean and there were lots of nice touches all over - from the fresh daisies in the bus to the matches they had for us to help start the fire. The bathroom was a short walk away and the pond was so cool and refreshing - our dogs had a blast.
Getting to the site was easy, but you do have to back out and it is a bit long of a drive to be driving in reverse. Even with our camera, it was a little challenging. The site is located behind their house and it was a little closer in proximity than expected. This wasn't a detail that was made very clear in other reviews or the description/pictures of the camp so we just wanted to mention this since it took us by surprise.
All in all, we would recommend Camp Clementine. The hosts were very nice, it was a beautiful place, and we made lots of happy memories there and you will too. Enjoy the stars at night!
