Come see Lake Shaftsbury State Park! This 200 year old farm is at the top of a dead end road on 150 acres. It sits in a region of Bennington County formerly called Healing Springs Vermont. The springs that flow off of West Mountain come down through the farm and across Route 7 where they feed the picturesque state park! Arrive at our 150 acre property at the top of this dead-end road.. (Please stay left all the way up to the top...the road becomes our driveway).. Step out onto this 200-year-old farm at your own private site all of which are several acres each minimum.. Walk to streams ponds and Lake Shaftsbury State Park.

Timbertrail Post and Beam

We had a blast! Mike was a generous, attentive host, and the site was loaded up with small luxuries. A record player and solid record collection, ping pong table, pizza oven (though we didn't have time to use this), and a wood stove for heat and all our cooking. The place is a bit cold, but fine once heated up with the wood stove and with sleeping bags. The listing says there's shower access, but as far as we could tell this just means you can shower using a pail of water.

Great place. Private and relaxed environment. If it’s winter, you need firewood and a GREAT sleeping bag to stay warm.

Great views with lots of privacy

Beautiful spot! Great view of the mountain at your own private camp site. We went up for New Years so AWD was certainly helpful for getting up to the site. Once there, the site was open, level, and not soggy at all. Loved the fire pit, and the primitive toilet looking out into the mountains was a fun experience. Mike was very responsive and helpful- we will definitely be back!
