Park at the barn and take a five minute walk up the pasture. Pitch your tent, start a fire with a provided fire ring and wood, and have a look around before the sun sets. In the morning, cook up a couple duck eggs and pay a visit to the vegetable beds or the free ranging ducks, take a walk in the woods, or take a dip in one of the two babbling brooks. The farmers are always around to answer questions and pass on local knowledge.

The vibe at Hilltop Meadow Tent Site
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Staying at Take Stock Farm was a dreamy little escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The view from the hill was beautiful. We pitched our tent and explored into the woods and around the farm. We even got to say hello to friendly farm animals. Farmer Jill and Charlie were so kind and gave us fresh duck eggs that we ate for dinner with some burgers (cooked over the fire!). Take Stock is the perfect camping spot if you're looking to enjoy Vermont at it's finest.
