A slice of heaven
Susan & Mike live on a slice of heaven! They were such warm hearted & generous hosts. Susan took her time with us & gave us a very educational tour of the farm. We even helped her feed the chickens & sheep! We witnessed the most incredibly starry night sky & the best sunset from a nearby covered bridge. We highly recommend camping at agricultural bliss!
Hands on farming experience
As someone who can barely keep a house plant alive, I've always been fascinated with farming and farm culture. Susan is a self proclaimed "plant nerd" and took us on an informative tour explaining each plant and crop in detail. It was amazing. We ate berries and cherry tomatoes off the vine while she explained the planting process and how they started this beautiful place. The tent sites are far away from the main house, and you can choose to be closer to the animals (they have chickens and sheep on the property) or a more secluded meadow. There is a pond on site that our dog loved splashing in, and a larger one perfect for swimming just a short walk down the road. We stopped by the Cabot creamery on our way and tried fresh cheese. We loved every bit of our stay and Susan was an exceptional host!
Beautiful farm in the mountains
Susan was such a great host and her farm is beautiful! She was kind enough to give us a tour of her farm and let us feed her chickens too! Which was such a lovely experience. The views from our campsite were incredible and Susan even let us take some produce for dinner!! 10/10 would recommend!
Superior host and lifelong memories
I HATE CAMPING, or should I say USED to hate camping. Susan made this experience for myself and my family so enjoyable that I’m so excited to go again, FOR LONGER!
Susan was such a great host, offered wood for a fire, weeded a special spot for us (even tho we ran out of time for a fire (sorry Susan! I fell asleep before the kids! Haha )
My three girls SO enjoyed their time with her helping to feed the animals and enjoyed some delicious Sugar Peas from her greenhouse!
My husband had a meeting that he had to attend last minute and she even offered her WIFI to make that possible!
My daughters also LOVED playing with their adorable, gentle, exceptionally loving pup Helga. They wanted to take Helga home with us, to our other two pups. I said we can’t take Helga off this beautiful farm, she is living the best dog life! Jealous!
It’s safe to say the Susan went the extra mile for us, and I will cherish these memories we had at the Stock Family Farm!
