I liked my stay, private and quiet. Don't arrive at 8pm if you can help it as it will be tough to spot. We called the host and they guided us in. I'm one word.... STARS! Wow

We would not recommend Sky Acres to a friend unless it was someone who really wanted to be off and alone. Firstly, the directions and site marking was very difficult. The listing says lot 3,
second left ”driveway”. When you drive up the hill, there is a mowed grass very steep entrance, driveway I guess?, which is the first left and then a mowed grass entrance with a small sign which says 3A, no other marking. We drove right by it the first time and then had to turn the trailer around. Secondly, the bushes could be cut back at the entrance as it is hard to see what the trailer is doing when backing in. The site was flat, grass, and well mowed…no shade trees, no picnic table. The biggest reason that we would not go again is that across Rte 100, not even a half mile away, is Gold Creek Campground. We checked it out and the sites were spacious and grassy. We could have camped along the little river, sat at our picnic table under the trees, used the swimming pool (it was 85 degree day), and enjoy water and electric for $48 including taxes. This makes Sky Acres seem skyhigh when it comes to value for the price point. We would recommend Stowe. It’s a great town with lots to do.

Great spot!
Super easy to access with plenty of space to camp with 2 cars. Basically no interaction with the host which made the process very easy, we were in and out with no issues!

The location was great but I didn’t see any visible markings of the specific address. We arrived at night and I tried to call many times to confirm but never heard back. We stayed on someone’s land I hope it was the right one.
