The Forest Retreat cabin is a short walk from our farm stand, greenhouses & farm venue. This is our only 3 season cabin at this time, guests may have to snow shoe or xc ski in for the winter. Inquire for accessibility/availability during winter months!
Hipcampers have the opportunity to harvest produce, tour the old fashioned (and operating) sugarbush, hike, bike, swim, pedal, paddle, relax, and visit other destinations in the area. There are numerous breweries, spirit & wine makers, cheese caves, farmers markets, artisans, and so much more within a small radius of the farm (Hill Farmstead, The Alchemist, Heady Topper, and Lost Nation to name a few). This is a rich agricultural area with a large localvore population!
Sandiwood Farm offers organic produce, maple syrup, CBD Hemp products, and firewood at our farm stand. We also take great pride in using wind power as a source of energy for our farm. We hope to inspire guests by offering the opportunity to unplug and allow nature & the farm to recharge guests with unforgettable agritourism and farm stay experiences. We host farm to fork dinners, movie nights, music, fundraisers, weddings, and other private events. Check out our website or contact us to coordinate your stay with upcoming farm events!

Best clamping ever!!!!!
Staying at Sandiwood farm was one of the best experiences my son my wife 2 dogs and I have ever had on a trip of this sort.
We were welcomed with open arms and immediatly felt like part of the farm.
Wonderfull to explore the property.
The surrounding views were amazing.
We had a clear moonless night and sat atop the hill in the field where we had the best view of the star I had had since I was a child.
I could go on and on....
Try staying here!!!!
You wont regret a moment of it!!!
Also seasonal frest farm organic veggies and yummy Maple syrup from their olde tyme sugar shack.
Thank you Sara, Bob, Kyle.
Love you guys.
Mark, Meghan, Rhys and our dogs Cady and Penny.
This place was absolutely breath taking. The cabin is everything you could dream of and more. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and even took the time out of the day to tow us out of the snow. We will most certainly be back in the VERY near future. 10/10.
Peaceful and welcoming
This was our second time staying at Sandiwood Farm. It was just as fantastic as the first! The hosts are very kind people, offering to help carry wood, shovel snow for us, etc. Their cabin is beautiful, cozy, and set by a quiet forest at the edge of a calm field. I can’t recommend this enough!
