We have a tent/RV nightly or seasonal site on our property in Lunenburg VT. We have a family camp very rustic literally down the hill, a 1940's rustic but comfortable camp. We are happy to host campers around the campfire, have a glass of wine and exchange travel stories. The site has access to electricity and running water from the lake. A spring nearby for fresh water. We have several kayaks, grill and most other amenities we are happy to share if the need should arise.
Your privacy is provided by a thick wooded area between your site and our camp. The site is close to the road which has very little traffic. A great home base to explore this beautiful area. 10 minutes outside Lancaster, NH, 20 minutes to Littleton, NH -- so much to see. We hope you enjoy this area as much as we do.

Although I didn't have an opportunity to meet her, Carrie was a generous and wonderful host! Everything was where she said, and we had everything we needed.
The camp is in fact a space next to the road and at the top of the informal 'driveway' to the cabin. Not a very private space. Although the road is not heavily traveled, you are located quite close to it.
This space comes with access to the lovely deck at the lake from which to launch the two kayaks that are available. The deck is located just in front of the cabin, so although we had it all to ourselves when we visited, if folks are using the cabin you'll need to be comfortable sharing.
Despite the rural location, this is a well-developed lakeside. Many cabins clustered together make for a less than private experience. If seclusion or privacy are the goal, this is not the place. However, if you're simply looking for a place to pitch a tent or park an RV, with access to the water, and aren't too picky, Carrie is a very accommodating host with a lovely spot on the lake to share.
Carrie was an excellent host keeping me informed and up to date on everything. The lake was really beautiful and it was great having access to their variety of small boats and patio. I think that there is room for improvement in terms of a flat surface intended for a tent. Overall, a great experience!
