Pitch your tent in our sunny field and enjoy sweet mountain views and visits with our pastured heritage livestock. We have an additional 2-3 person tent for rent for $10. You may enjoy walking in our forest, which features the Old Ways Herbal School of Plant Medicine located in the Botanical Sanctuary, home to dozens of species of at-risk and endangered plants native to our New England forests. The forest is contiguous to Green Mountain National Forest, so the wildlife is superb, with regular visits from deer, bear, moose, lynx, fox, and other critters. The Rock River is across the road, not deep enough to swim most of the year but certainly enough to wade, and we are a 5 minute drive from the many beautiful swimming holes along the Rock & West Rivers. Nearby swimming, hiking, good restaurants, popular tubing and paddling on the West River, and convenient to all that Brattleboro, Newfane, Townshend, Dover, Mount Snow, & Stratton have to offer, including the incredible hiking in Green Mountain National Forest.
