Pitch your tent in the midst of our Botanical Sanctuary, home to dozens of species of at-risk and endangered plants native to our New England forests. Our forest campsite is entirely private. Located on a hill above our organic farm, the campsite provides sweet views of our pastured heritage livestock and the surrounding mountains in our little river valley. The campsite is on the edge of a small brook that the deer visit regularly. Our forest is contiguous with Green Mountain National Forest, so the wildlife is superb, with regular visits from bear, moose, lynx, fox, and other critters. Our herb school (not in session when camping is allowed) is nearby in the forest. The Rock River is across the road, not deep enough to swim most of the year but certainly enough to wade, and we are a 5 minute drive from the many beautiful swimming holes along the Rock & West Rivers. Nearby swimming, hiking, good restaurants, popular tubing and paddling on the West River, and convenient to all that Brattleboro, Newfane, Townshend, Dover, Mount Snow, & Stratton have to offer, including the incredible hiking in Green Mountain National Forest. PLEASE NOTE: WE WELCOME PEOPLE FROM ALL BACKGROUNDS HERE!
