Our cozy, private, rustic mountain yurt is a 30’ foot space located in an upper field tucked into a wooded hillside. Views facing east are great for watching the sunrise and a kitchen and outhouse mean you’ve got everything you need to get out of town for a few days.* The location provides a serene, intimate getaway for couples, artists or anyone looking for a bit of mindful downtime and introspection. The yurt is insulated and heated by a wood stove. It is equipped with a full-sized bed, couch, breakfast table with four chairs and night table. Linens included.

Surrounding fields are available for tent camping should you want to host a larger event and use the yurt for its kitchen and gathering space (the furniture can be removed). The yurt and its verdant surroundings are great for day-long wellness retreats, sound baths, yoga workshops, art classes and more.

Farm tours, floral workshops and personalized catered meals by Blossom Kitchen and Catering, the on-site vegetarian kitchen, are available upon request for delivery to the yurt with at least two days’ notice.

This is a perfect relaxation spot for bikers and hikers - Just beyond the yurt you can enjoy, or even help to improve newly constructed mountain biking trails Addison County Bike Club’s members have been working on. Rivers and lakes with swimming holes are an easy drive away, as is the charming mountain village of Bristol, with a fully stocked supermarket, two breweries, restaurants of all price ranges, shops and more. We are 30 minutes from the Burlington International Airport, and the closest Amtrak train station in Rutland is an hour drive.

It is best to arrive before sunset. Please do not arrive in the middle of the night.

* Solar shower available upon request

The cozy yurt at New Leaf Organics was the perfect glamping experience--sandwiched between our tent camping--for our summer vacation in Vermont. The yurt was super comfortable, had everything we needed, and was very private. Lot's of great hiking and biking in the area as well. We would definitely recommend it with five stars!

We enjoyed our stay in the cozy mountain yurt. It was private and peaceful offering a great view of the farm from the fire pit. Our dogs adjusted well and Jill provided great advice for nearby hiking etc. We were in close proximity to places to bike and kayak. This was a great trip making the current pandemic fade from view while getting much needed fresh air and time in nature. The little kitchen was perfect for cooking our meals. Thanks for hosting us! We hope to come back again.

I had such a lovely experience staying at this yurt! I found it cozy, clean, and wonderfully decorated. We were so grateful to find a bundle of wood by the stove all ready to burn, especially as temperatures dropped below 0 over our stay. We brought logs of our own, but ended up burning through more from the stack outside. The wood stove is so charming. And efficient! It was really nice to have the separate building with the perfect little kitchen, too. I hope to return in warmer weather to enjoy the fire pit outside!

We had a great time at the yurt! Although a little cold, the wood stove was able to heat up the room until we were shedding layers. Farm stand has lots of produce and great foods to choose from, and the catered meal was excellent as well. 10/10

We had a great time staying on New Leaf Organic farm and we loved the yurt! It was never more than 25F outside but the wood stove kept the yurt above 60F and wood was plentiful. There was quite a lot of snow so snowshoes were helpful to explore the farm. The separate kitchen was well-equipped.

My husband and I loved our winter stay at the yurt! There was plenty of wood, and the yurt heated right up after starting a fire. We enjoyed great xc skiing in the area and delicious meals prepared by Tessa of Blossom and New Leaf Organics. We look forward to returning soon!

The yurt stayed nice and toasty during a FREEZING weekend - it was paradise.A winter oasis!

What an incredible couples get away! Nestled in our own, private winter wonderland, the yurt offered beautiful winter views, a short drive to delicious pizza, and an intimate, cozy setting set by the wood stove perfect for reading, board games, and spending very intentional time with one another. Jill, the host, gave us all the info we needed to have a successful comfortable stay, even in single digit weather.
