Former Dairy Farm but the milking & hay barns burned many years Past. The fields have been maintained to some degree until 2019 when Lee came up with the idea of primitive camping. The land turns out to be ideal because each site makes you feel like the only campers there. New this year you will find a picnic table for 6 and a 3 Ft. dia. fire pit with adjustable grill that flips out for open fire @ each site. Another new item is "Hot Shower"

My goodness what a magical space!!!
I had the most incredible time at Louella’s!! I did a one night stay solo after a show at Nectar’s. It is such a healing space and I can’t wait to go back!!! I’ll be bringing my kiddos and pup next time.

We had the most amazing trip to Louella’s land. They left a fire starting kit along with the wood bundles which was so thoughtful. We happened to be there on a night when the northern lights were visible from Vermont and it was the most perfect spot to sit and watch them!

Camping in a tent was perfect on this site! We felt completely alone and everything was perfect! The hosts were super kind!

An absolute hidden gem. We appreciated the thoughtful site placement and feeling of seclusion. The clean facility and shower were an absolute treat! Louella is an amazing host.

Madine's Site
This is a beautiful spot, hosted by a very kind and welcoming family. I loved the view and the sound of peepers in the pond at night. The picnic table and fire ring are great and they provided tons of kindling. Louella is a wonderful host.
