Wonderful location and host
Lina was an excellent host. She did everything imaginable to make my stay excellent. The farm is wonderful. It feels very secluded but is only a mile from the center of Woodstock.
A place not to misse
We were delighted by the location of the site and the kindness of our host. Lina was very welcoming and helpful. The site is particularly beautiful with a splendid panoramic view of the surroundings. A place not to be missed!
Exceeded all expectations
I was truly blown away by Lina's land. I've always loved big old barns and this was such an awesome experience for us. The land is beautiful, and the views from the sites are all stunning. We stayed in our sprinter van, she has two spots for bigger "rigs" or vehicles to choose from, as well as three secluded tent sites. It was a perfect layout. We walked up the hill to her fire pit and had a fire while we watched the sun set over the barn and surrounding trees, it was so peaceful. Trails are well marked and all the sites are numbered. The spots are far enough away from the road, we didn't hear a thing. Lina has about 100 acres, so you feel like you are the only ones for miles. It feels out of the way from town, but in reality it's only about a mile away. We spent the next day walking around the adorable town of Woodstock grabbing coffee and pastries at a local cafe, and stopping in bookshops and hitting the farmers market. I felt like I was in a movie. It was such a fun cozy weekend, my only wish is that we had come to see the fall foliage. Oh well, I guess that means we'll have to come again!
Lina was a great host. She responded quickly to texts/emails and had everything ready to go when I arrived. Beautiful spot overlooking picturesque trees and a red barn. The fire pit was huge. Perfect spot to spend a night outdoors!
