Lake Carmi is big, as far as Vermont lakes go, and, with its 7.5 miles of perimeter, comes space for hundreds of roomy camping sites. Kayak around the wetlands, visit the nature center, cool off at the water’s edge at one of the three beaches, or enjoy the weekly activity organized by the camp host. This is a one-size-fits-all kind of spot. And, for our canine lovers, Lake Carmi is one of the only parks in Vermont that has dog friendly cabins. Yip-yip-hooray!

The picture of the glider under the maple trees is MY place on Lake Carmi! I have a Lake House for rent, listed under " (#33).
Lake Carmi State Park is a nice spot also, with many sites to chose from. Our lake is great for Kayaks and canoes.
