Hillyard Park is a pleasant, and esthetically relaxing, three acre lawn expanse. It's on a gently rolling slope, with plateaus at the bottom and top acres. It's a perfect spot for picnics, for pets and people to enjoy. There are distant views in two directions at the top of the yard. The Appalachian Trail passes along the ridge just across the street and up Bunker Hill Road from my home. The town is just uphill of The White River, less than two miles down the road. Fishing, swimming, and kayaking are enjoyed there. This is a very quiet neighborhood with very little traffic, and the speed limit in front of my home is 25 mph.  (Food markets, gas, and restaurants are a 15 minute drive east.)  My home was built in 1813, by the Snow family, for their youngest son. My property was part of a very large farm which existed long before our nation became independent of England, and long before Vermont was named a State. The church next door was built in 1779. This semi-rural neighborhood has homes placed far apart from each other, and built in traditional New England styles.  The entire town of North Pomfret is situated on an ancient geologic Dome, and contains healthful minerals and clean water wells and streams.  Learn more about this land: Depending on the size of the vehicle camper, I can host  one large vehicle in front of my home, and one smaller camper vehicle in my driveway parking area. I can host three smaller or Van campers, with two in front of home, and one in driveway parking area. During covid-19 pandemic, all campers must have self contained toilet capabilities.  Large bus and travel trailers may park in front of my home, parallel to road, partially on my grass for even greater distance from road. There is very little traffic on my two lane road. It's a 25 mph speed limit. You should park facing church, on the right of the road way. It's a level, paved area. Smaller Van campers may pull in driveway parking area, without blocking my garage. There is a large maple tree on the RIGHT of my driveway entrance. DO NOT CONFUSE IT with the driveway that has a large maple tree to the left of their long driveway.Depending on the size of the vehicle camper, I can host  one large vehicle in front of my home, and one smaller camper vehicle in my driveway parking area.
