Steve’s place is great. We got in later than planned, but he was kind enough to wait up and show us where to park. Nice fire pit and beautiful views in the morning. Met another couple camping there for the night, but there’s enough space and the tree line is such that you still have privacy. Iroquois beach is a quick drive around the corner, and there’s blueberry picking at the farm up the road this time of year!
The meadow is so beautiful-peaceful and quiet with lovely views. Super convenient to Lake Champlain and Burlington. The fire pit is fantastic. Steve is a great communicator and he made it super easy for us, even accommodating our need to string up a hammock. I can’t wait to come back!
It was the perfect place for us; easily biked and ran from campsite to Lake Iroquois and around it. Right on a main road and easily accessed from all points. We were thankful to have an awning and tarps to help us stay out of the direct sun & thankful the sunshine kept our battery topped off too.
This was a great spot! Steve was very accommodating and easy going, the atmosphere was laid back and friendly across the board. Beautiful land to stay on with easy access to the lake next-door. Would absolutely recommend as a hassle-free place to camp/crash. Hope to stay here again someday. Thank you Steve!
Boondocking under the stars!
Super cool spot. Def Boondocking but it’s totally legit! I’d say it’s about a five minute walk or so to the lake where you can launch the kayak or SUP! OR you can drive to the beach which is located directly across from the launch spot (6.5 minute drive!). At night the sky is lit up with stars so make sure to bring a blanket to lay on! You wouldn’t want to miss out. Oh btw ask about the breakfast spot down the street, bagel sandwich was delicious. If you’re looking to hit Burlington for some beers and food don’t worry you’re super close. If you need anything just ask Steve. Rad dude!
Great location! nothin' fancy
Great location relative to Burlington- about 12-15 minute drive from downtown. Property neighbors access road to a nice little lake with boat launch and beach.
The meadow is in plane view of the property owner's front porch- did not feel uncomfortable with this however, Steve was super pleasant and inclusive.
Great spot for an overnight pit stop.
Easy & quiet.
I loved this little spot!! I had hiked mt mansfield and needed a place to sleep so I didnt drive too far in the dark. Steve's place is a simple 30 min away, which was perfect. I booked SUPER last minute when I got off the mountain & realized it was getting dark. He responded within 5 minutes!
I had the area to myself & was the only camper there. Each site is marked with a cute birdhouse, and the lake access is lovely. A very short walk & very serene and quiet. There is a porta potty at the lake if you so need. Steve made sure I was taken care of and directed me where to park, and was available with a simple text. He gave me recommendations for the next part of my trip as well.
I would stay here again!
