NorthWood Stewardship Center is a non-profit facility that was established over 30 years ago.  The main building has a kitchen, dining room and a large conference room.  There are over 1500 acres of property with wilderness campsites, fields, ponds and streams.  Cross country ski and hiking trails wind their way through the pine plantations and the spruce and fir forests.   We offer hands on learning experiences to students of all ages both in classroom presentations, field trips and overnight camping.  Close to the Clyde River, we offer many canoe expeditions.  During the summer, we employ close to 100 teenagers through the Youth Conservation Corps with USFW Services in the States of Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut. The Bunkhouse was build in 2016 and is available to anyone who is interested.  It sleeps 16 and has been rented to Colleges for Forest Science study, many retreats, family gatherings, skiiers who base here and also use Jay Peak and Burke Mountain, and also Native American Cultural Regeneration groups. We have one lean to, 4 tent platforms and two canvas tents that are available for rent as well as the open meadow with a large firepit in the center.of it.
