Ripley Hill is the largest cabin with the most amenities. Itl is located on a hill overlooking the Farm Pond. The cabin has two bedrooms, one with a double-bed and another with a double-bed and a twin bed. There is also a couch with a fold-out double bed, in the main room. The screened-in porch, with an additional queen-sized bed, overlooks the Farm Pond.

Ripley Hill is equipped with an indoor bathroom with a sink, toilet, tub and shower. The kitchen has a gas-powered refrigerator and stove as well as a sink. Hot and cold running water is available inside the cabin. Ripley Hill features a wood stove and a fireplace in the main room. There is also an outhouse.

Ripley Hill is a short walk to the Farm Pond and the central play structure. It is about a 20 minute walk to our lake. It is close to Cold Spring Cabin , but out of sight. Sometimes two families book these cabins together.

Family Owned
Forest Echo Farm is owned by a cooperative group of families and individuals who are committed to the values of simple living and the preservation of our environment.

Rustic and Comfortable Cabins
No power lines cross our property, no electricity reaches our cabins. We have no blaring screens to distract us from the sound of the wind in the leaves or to call us back to the whirl of modern life. But that does not mean we are without any of the comforts of civilization.
Each cabin has hot and cold gravity-fed running water, a gas stove for cooking, gas lights and even a propane-powered refrigerator. The cabins are rustic, but clean and airy.

Forest, Meadow, Lake and Pond

The luxuries at Forest Echo Farm are not inside the cabins; they are found in the light that fills the forest in late afternoon, the silence of an evening canoe on Tiny Pond and the moonlit sparkle of dewdrops at midnight. Forest Echo Farm includes over 400 acres, extensive shore to a 26 acre protected pond, a swimming hole, numerous trails, and half a mountain.

Cleaning Up
We do not offer a 'housekeeping' service, but instead ask you to clean up before your departure and leave the cabin ready for the next renters. Please clean the kitchen, sweep the floor and take your trash, compost, and recyclables to our Caretakers for disposal. They are on-site to greet you upon arrival, answer your questions and see to any maintenance. They can also make recommendations for activities in the surrounding area.

Activities at Forest Echo Farm
During your stay at Forest Echo, enjoy walking and hiking, bird- watching, canoeing, swimming, playing on our playground, or just relaxing. There are several hiking and walking trails right on the property. Tiny Pond offers a secluded spot for swimming and canoeing; we even have a resident heron. Tiny Mountain and Tiny Pond are a short hike from all cabins.
