And is such a nice guy and truly a wonderful person! This is my first time using hipcamp and I have to say I was impressed with him. We arrive late at night and he had a bonfire going for us! We got to meet some of his friends and he showed us around his beautiful Farm. It's incredible what he is done with farming and permaculture. He loves teaching, and is truly an inspiration to others. In the morning he came by our Volkswagen camper with fresh coffee and a smile. I highly recommend him to other campers and anyone who wants to learn permaculture.
Ed was an exceptionally courteous and accommodating host. The grounds are beautiful and leave a variety possibilities for camping. New cabins are beautiful and plenty of room for tents. Nearby pizzeria and diner were also fantastic. I highly recommend!
Camping and permaculture education
I met Ed after I had set up my tent. If I had talked to him first, I probably would have stayed in one of the mini cabins he has on the property instead of setting up my tent. Ed is a mellow dude and a gracious host. He was kind enough to make me a smoothie from berries grown on the property. Ed is fully immersed in permaculture. The property is covered with clusters of edible plants of every variety you can think of. I highly recommend asking Ed about his plants or for a tour of the property. He is knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
Calm and welcoming stay
Ed was really welcoming to us. The field is filled with different varieties of edibles and this guy is a real enthusiastic grower willing to show you his plantation.
We were the only campers (2) during our stay and it felt really calm. I would recommend to any friend of mine.
A slice of serenity
Ed and his mom were very friendly and welcoming! We stayed in one of the little cabins on the property and it was a cozy and perfect little retreat. Thanks for the lovely stay :)
