We enjoyed our night at Coy Mountain. It’s such a beautiful property with friendly and welcoming hosts! Easy to get to and you can drive back to a car camping area. Or you can walk in 800 feet to a flat mown lawn area for even more seclusion.
This place is unbelievable. Just, flat out gorgeous with amazing hosts, land, and local vibe. We met a few locals on hikes, and exploded the town. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!
Great beautiful camping experience
Coy Mountain was a great experience! Easy to find farm with wide open field on top of a hill. We were able to drive our Subaru right up. The site had fire ring and picnic table, big open area for tents, with tall grass meadow surrounding. The hosts Kathy and Tim are great! Very nice, friendly people, they make you feel quite at home. Would definitely camp again.
Staying at Coy Mountain Camp was excellent! Everyone was very helpful and our spot was beautiful with a perfect view of surrounding Vermont mountains. They came by with fresh eggs for breakfast that we cooked over the fire pit. We stayed up late watching the stars. Our dogs had a blast too. We've recommended it to our friends and family in the area!
Up on a hill
Coy Mountain Camp is the most amazing little place to camp and explore!! Up on a private hill with no one else around, this place is super secluded and is extremely peaceful. Between the incredible sunrises and sunsets and the simply breathtaking sky, this place's beauty is unparalleled.
Our experience with Kathy and Tim was amazing! The site is gorgeous, private and it had just what we needed. They came upon our first morning with fresh eggs! We headed out for a day of wandering and sadly our BW van broke down. They were kind enough to meet us to bring the items we left behind (we were in the tow truck headed back home). They really went above and beyond. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy their beautiful spot again. It’s great for dogs—they loved it!
Private, beautiful, relaxing
Always a wonderful stay at Coy Mountain Campground.
The hosts are great, the camp site is beautiful and private. stars at night are amazing! perfect spot for a relaxing camping weekend. Was my second time there, and my friends first, they all loved it as well. Would definitely stay again.
Picturesque, friendly, minimalistic
Kathleen was a great host! We were greeted with a smile and a dozen farm fresh eggs! The site itself is amazing, visually stunning and immaculate. They kindly provided us with local wood so we didn’t have to worry about purchasing any when we arrived. The spot itself is the best amenities- everything else is pretty low key, which is my favorite way to camp to get away from things!
