Our home was built in 1791 and is a Colonial Farmhouse. We are only the 3rd family to have owned this house as it was a working farm for the Converse family for many generations. We raised 3 sons here and now they have left the nest. Yes, we are empty nesters with a fairly large property and we want to share it. Come join us and enjoy our great property.

Baltimore House
This was our first Hipcamp experience and both Alecia and John were incredibly welcoming. They have a beautiful location and were incredibly accommodating. They clearly enjoy the company of their HipCamp guests. Swimming with their dog Bear in their heated swimming pool under a starlit sky will always be a fond memory.

Camping with the comforts of home
We had a good time. It was really nice being able to use the shower and laundry and kitchen after being in the camper for several days. John and Alecia were very generous with her home and the location was great with lots to do in the area

Alecia and John were very welcoming. Their dogs were the cutest ever. We'll definitely come back. The environment was just beautiful and the view from their yard was just spectacular.

Great 1st Hipcamp Stay
We had a great 1st Hipcamp experience at the Baltimore House. The owners were very friendly, their grandson was funny, and both dogs were good entertainment for our 5 yr old who started out afraid of both dogs but asked if she could take one home on the last day. Magical! We loved the pool and I think I used it the most swimming mini laps, diving off the diving board and going down the slide. All the optional amenities were perfect for us. We were close by to several fishing options (hopefully next time), Harpoon Brewery, Great Outfitters for outdoor activities, and even a shooting range (not sure if they offer day passes). Very quiet area and easy to find with Alecia's directions. We would happily book again! I will note different people have different expectations of privacy so you should be reminded this is a shared space and you will always be under the watchful eye of the owners regardless of where you are on their property. Similar to AirBnB's using-a-room-in-someone's-house rather than entire-place-to-yourself.
