FIREWOOD, DRINKING WATER, and OUTHOUSE USAGE AVAILABLE! This is a tent site! The tent platform (10x14) keeps you off the ground. Bring your own tent, sleeping bag, stove, camping supplies, etc.--however much or little you're comfortable with :) We are about 6 miles off the interstate in Bradford, Vermont. It is relatively quiet, beautiful, natural. Our lovely piece of paradise is yours to share for the duration of your stay.

This is a camping platform on our working homestead. We have chickens that squawk (no roosters though), the neighbors have dogs that sometimes bark, and there are rabblerousers who occasionally rev their truck engines in the distance. You may see us out weeding and watering the garden, pruning the fruit trees, harvesting produce, schlepping lumber, etc. This is our home site, and we think you'll enjoy it, but it is not a national forest or a state park. There is a fire pit that you are welcome to use; firewood is available for $5 per generous bundle. We also provide a large tote of fresh-from-the-well drinking water. If you run out, you are welcome to refill it.The outhouse is your bathroom for your stay here; as this is the only tent site, you will be sharing it only with your party. We have a compost bin for any food scraps, with a barrel of rain water for doing dishes in style! We ask that you keep any food (or food-smelling) products either in your vehicle or in the bear-proof barrel that we provide!

Amanda’s place was perfect. We were on a 10 day camping trip across VT, NH, and ME and our stay with Amanda was our favorite. She had a jug of water waiting for us. Her fresh eggs were delicious. Highly recommend staying here.

The camp site was lovely. A lot of thought went into create a very sweet spot with a lovely, clean outhouse, big jug of well water, bear box, and dish washing station-- just as described and in the pictures. we really enjoyed ourselves, took a nice walk up the nearby wright mountain, walked around on the trails on their property, watched a gorgeous sunrise and had a great fire in the fire pit at night, joined by their sweet and friendly dog and cat. Thanks so much!

Beautiful tent platform with outstanding views. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. The facilities (outhouse , fire pit, table, benches, platform) are well build and create a comfortable stay . As a single women traveler I felt very safe and I will be back again for some Vermont style R&R. Do your self a favor and pick up the Maple syrup they sell on the farm.

We loved staying here! Everything is well maintained and beautiful. We were very comfortable with our tent up on the raised wooden platform. We loved walking on the short trails around the campsite. Amanda and Ben made sure we had everything we needed, and even gave us recommendations for places to hike. Bonus: there's a very friendly cat!

The views really are amazing. The site which was cozy and very well kept. Amanda put a lot of thought and care into the site and it shows. As noted in the listing, it's a short walk from the main house on the property and this is not a backwoods camping experience. Was lucky enough to wake up to snow in mid-October and it was a beautiful sight. Rural location in Vermont but still close enough to town for any supplies you may have forgotten. Super quick drive to some great hiking and amazing fall views. Awesome spot, host, and location.

Wonderful view for minimum effort! I parked at the site, unpacked, and didn't move all weekend. The view from the site is excellent. A little close to the host's house, but no complaints. Amanda was friendly and accommodating.
