CLOSEST HIPCAMP LISTING TO THE ENTRANCE OF ZION NATIONAL PARK THERE ARE 3 LUXURY TENTS WITH AIR CONDITIONER AND FIREPLACES and a real swimming pool...all booked separately...so if it looks like your date is already taken keep going though the booking process..the sites in green are still bookable...Bring your tooth brush and duffle. No need to haul around a tent or sleeping bag. We are the closest glamp site to (about 9 miles) the entrance to Zion National Park and Springdale with fine restaurants, bars, and unique shops. We have 3 large tents each with pillow top queen beds, high quality linens and fine furnishings. Each tent has full electric power. For those "chilly" starry Zion nights we also have fireplaces in each tent. Our "DIRTY DOG" (#1) tent is our largest(14' x 16') and has it's own en suite full bathroom with a small tub, shower, sink, flushing toilet and bidet. Our "LADY GOAT" (#2) Tent(8' x 10') has beautiful warm color furnishings with a wonderful view to the pasture. Our "RABBITT RYOKAN"(#3) tent is also(8' x 10') and sits in the shade under a wonderful wild pecan tree...you might sit on the porch and pet one of the pasture animals, cow, sheep, or maybe the horse. Wow!! Just wow! This site is absolutely out of this world! We couldn't even believe our eyes when we pulled in. Scott and Ken greeted us instantly when we pulled in and showed us around the property. They we so so welcoming and we the absolutely perfect hosts. We loved chatting with them about the property and their story and history with the site. Their hospitality was enough to make us want to go back! But that was just the beginning of this wonderful stay. Scott and Ken showed us the barn first, and holy moly was it out of this world!! With swanky jazzy music playing out of the speakers and the entire place lit and decorated like a little speak easy we were ready to take off out hiking boots and put on our dancing shoes! Next were the tents, which in line with everything else on this property, were of course out of this world! They were so beautifully decorated, came equipped with lights, heat, and electric outlets, and had the best bed ever! We slept like babies in the beautiful homey tent! And then there was the bathroom, which was also absolutely out of this world! It housed two separate private showers with two sinks and mirrors as well as a flushing toilet. If there was a best camp bathroom award, this place would take the cake! Finally, there was the property itself, tucked away from the main road in a quaint little town, it was secluded and peaceful. The yard area was so beautiful. It had a wooden deck with loungers for catching some rays. There was a pond right on site which was home to the most adorable family of ducks and ducklings, and then there was a lovely pasture with a few cows, goats, and a horse! The surrounding views were wonderful, and best of all the stars were unflipping believable!! We were able to see the entire milky-way and so so much more! All in all this place was just incredible. We cannot wait to go back and stay again!!
A truly phenomenal, and my best ever himpcamp/Airbnb experience: Scott and Ken are two incredibly generous humans with a deep passion for hospitality, a brilliant eye for design with a beautiful and perfectly located property 20 mins from the entrance to Zion National Park.
I have stayed at many glamping sites (even in the Zion vicinity) and this is so much more - it is an experience, not just accomodation.
The tents feel like a home, each with its own character and personality. They are equipped with everything you could need, but definitely not cluttered. Small shampoo, conditioner, a little torch, bug spray and fluffy white towels were just some of the early surprises we found in our tent.
You have everything you could want for cooking - whether you chose to use the grill plate over the open fire or the gas stove. Smart additions like the salt, pepper, olive oil and tobacco were some of the thoughtful additions that made the cooking experience so easy and fun for us. Ken surprised us with delicious egg rolls and hot coffee for breakfast. Way beyond what we signed up for and just a genuine sign of his generosity and passion for hospitality.
The tents are in the back paddock/yard behind the house, neighbouring a paddock with sheep, cattle and horses and, overlooked by stunning mountains.
The great and unique part to this stay is that you have many other spaces to use and enjoy. We loved the pool and the barn - a beautifully designed communal space for eating and socialising curated.
The out house/ bathroom for tents 2 and 3 are definitely not a downside. It’s super easy to cross 15m of grass (though it doesn’t feel too close) and they are impeccably clean and well stocked.
Whilst Ken and Scott were there for everything we needed (and more), they are definitely not in your space and provide plenty of privacy. We hung out with them for beers by the pool because they are total legends and great company.
I couldn’t recommend this experience highly enough. Don’t pass this one up - our stay was, and I’m sure yours will be too, full of delightful moments and memories we will never forget.
Great place!! Beautiful scene, right by Zion. Surrounded by mountains and walking distance to the Virgin river. The tents were cozy comfortable and stocked with amenities. Perfect fire pit for roasting marshmallows 😋. Our host Scott provided great recommendations for local dining in town. 👍👍
My girlfriend and I have been calling them our "fairy godfathers" since we got back. I've already told Ken that this was the most restorative experience I've had in the past decade. Ken & Scott have opened up their land, which is idyllic, to those seeking refuge, relaxation, and restoration in the unbelievable landscapes of the Utah wilds. More than that, though, they are incredibly gracious hosts who will share with your their knowledge of the history of the land, their recommendations for food & fun (we weren't disappointed), and their general good spirits. Whether it was feeding the baby ducks and laughing as they followed us back to our tent, waking up to a surprise breakfast served piping hot on the deck (delicious!), or joining the guys for a drink, we couldn't be more thrilled to recommend them so highly to friends, family, and you. Don't hesitate on this booking!
The cabin was super cute and cozy, comfy bed and wonderful bathrooms. Easy drive to Zion National Park. INCREDIBLE stargazing from
the site. Great experience for anyone dipping their toes into camping! Scott was a wonderful and friendly host.
This is THE place to stay if you're traveling to Zion or just looking for a great get-away in Southern Utah.
We could not be any more satisfied with the experience we had staying with Scott. The site is amazing and the hosts were more than accommodating. We loved hanging out by the perfect pool after a hot day of hiking and had a great time cooking out over the fire at night. The tent was pristine with a luxurious bed and a great view of the mountains in the distance. The hosts have put an amazing amount of time and consideration into making this an unforgettable experience for their guests. We would love to stay again!
Glamp here! This has been one of our top favorite places to stay. The location is super close to Zion, but far away enough from all of the Springdale buzz. Their property is beautiful. The amenities that Ken and Scott thought of for their guests bring it to a new kind of glamping level. I don’t want to ruin all of the sweet surprises. At the same time, you can still cook on a camp fire if that’s what you’re looking for. The best part of our stay were the hosts... they are so thoughtful, kind, fun, and full of heart. It’s an amazing experience that I cannot recommend enough.
Highly recommend this place!! We had the best time! Scott and Ken thought of everything. The set up is perfect...tents are so cute and comfy, the bathroom was clean and convenient, the pool was perfect temp, and the barn...I want one! They’ve set it up as a gathering place for everyone to socialize in. Sooo cool! Hoping to go back next summer with family and friends!
Scott and Ken were incredibly welcoming. They made breakfast for us each morning, showed us around their beautiful property and made us feel at home. The accommodations were spectacular - comfy bed, en suite bathroom, heating blankets, grill, campfire, jacuzzi, Bluetooth speaker... they thought of everything. On top of it all, it was only 15 min drive to Zion, which was ideal. Thanks so much for making our experience memorable - anyone would be lucky to stay here.
