Great campsite! Ideal distance to Zion and Lake Powel. Good place if you are looking to be in the middle. Awesome little cheese shop on the way. Water canyon trail hike is beautiful and not crowded.
We loved staying in Water Canyon! Hildale/Colorado City are fascinating to drive through and the view from the tent really can’t be beat. We put our cots on the deck and the night sky and early morning mountains were surreal. Can’t recommend this place enough, but be advised, there are no showers- maxwell park provides bathrooms only. You may also want to bring your own source of light. Hope to be back soon!
This is an amazing campsite! My husband and I did a camping honeymoon, stopping along the way from MN to LA and found this place very last minute. It was very easy to book and also very easy to find and get in. Brad was easy to get a hold of and you can tell he cares a lot about this sacred place. A reminder to those using this site- be respectful and leave it better than you found it. We had to do some lite picking up when we arrived- plastic in the fire pit, some lose garbage around the premise and broken bottles... it’s a shame someone would treat this spot and nature that way but we gladly did our part to clean it up and leave it better than found. If you get the chance- book this amazing campsite and you will not regret it- the privacy and the views made it a night we’ll always remember.
My husband and I had a wonderful time at The tent at water canton Cliffside! We spent our days hiking into the canyon and our nights relaxing by the fire pit underneath a beautiful blanket of stars. The amenities provided were great. There are no showers or running water at the campsite, so as long as you are prepared for that you will enjoy your stay too. Thanks Brad!
We stayed here in Aug. It was hot, but the balcony gave us a great place to relax, cook, and cool down. The views from the tent were amazing! This style of camping was very plush (also, I have always stayed in my own tent so a canvas tent felt like a mini home away from home). The host provides cots/sleeping pads, a couple chairs, and a composting toilet nearby. Maxwell park is great for water and they have clean bathrooms. Sadly though, we didn't take advantage of the fire pit due to the hot weather. We would definitely come back!
