Listing includes power and water also use of the farm house bathroom & kitchen from 8 am - 9 pm. The farm is located directly off the Jordan River Parkway and Redwood Nature Preserve on the west and PacifiCorp green space on the south. 10 minutes from downtown, our property is a real urban hidden treasure. Ranch home on 8 acres with a barn a covered round pen and an outdoor arena. Our property is home to horses, ponies, goats, chickens, rabbits, and pigs.
We would love to have you dogs and we think of them as people so WE CHARGE $6 FOR EACH DOG. We are close to downtown SLC, the SLC International airport, and Traxx. Located right off the Jordan River Parkway with miles of bike trails.
We are a functioning urban farmstead. We try to give our animals as much freedom and open space as we can so your stay will probably include interactions with our free range animals. All our animals poop... a lot - manure our greatest, yet most misunderstood, natural resource. Some of the animals on our farm are raised for meat.
The property is located directly off the Redwood Nature preserve so there are deer, foxes, raccoons, beaver, owls, hawks, and bald eagles. Occasionally we have a predator related tragedy on our farm with our rabbits and chickens. If this is something that will bother you or your family we apologize and suggest we aren't the place for you.
We also board horses so there is often people coming and going through the property. Our boarders often bring their dogs along so there can be quite a few dogs onsite at times. We also host a dog training class on Sundays and a mounted horse archery club during the spring, summer, and fall months. We have groups that come for equine enrichment during the week and student riders that come on the weekends. We do offer horse riding lessons for $40 when available.

This place couldn't be more convenient for access to SLC and surrounding areas. We stayed here on our roadtrip to the ski areas around Salt Lake. Were very pleased to find they had a weeknight discount, easy electrical hookup for our van to stay warm, and a private outdoor bathroom for us to use. The host offered us access to the shower in home but we were headed out early and did not take advantage. A lovely stay at a little urban farm. Easy in and out, right next to the adorable goats!
The farm was great! We were able to pull up to an outlet right next to a bathroom. Only small issue was that we weren't sure if the entrance was correct in the dark based on the description. But the owners came out, greeted us and showed us where to park. Plus, you wake up to goats and chickens walking around!
This is a great place to stay with a camper, van, RV or similar. There’s a couple spots for a tent. Wish we knew about this property earlier for our stay around Salt Lake City. We came to salt lake from Canada for a ski trip, it’s a 40 min drive to Alta/Snowbird and about a hour to Snowbasin. There’s nice dogs, goats, horses, pigs, chickens and a fireplace with wood provided. Flush toilet with running water. The host Jayme was very easygoing and we would definitely stay again! Thanks!
Jayme the camphost extraordinaire is just delightful! This is truely an amazing wonder in the heart of a large city. I will not ever pass thru Salt Lake City without stopping in to the Inner City Farm and Horse Ranch! Very accomodating - you feel at home! And the animals are fantastic...
If you're an animal lover like me, you're gonna dig this place. Definitely a cool experience. The Mexican spot on the corner is really, really good. I had a few people over the weekend mention it to me as well. You're 10-15 minutes from downtown. After being in campgrounds for several days on my road trip, this was perfect. Jayme will take care of you
Just what we needed! After a long day of cramped traveling, Jayme’s city farm was a perfect rest stop. We arrived late, but still received a quick tour of amenities and got to see a rescued baby owl feeding before we set up camp. We woke up to horses, goats and other friendly farm animals and it was awesome. Would recommend!
