Elegant Avie, our 5th Wheel trailer, provides bed, bath, coffee and tea at the Adventure Haven.

Solid oak cabinets gleam in Avie’s kitchen, living area, bath, and bedroom. A queen-size bed provides a good night’s sleep in the peace and quiet of La Sal, and her dining area overlooks the La Sal mountains through large windows. A comfy couch across the room has the same beautiful view, and opens up to a full size bed when necessary. Her compact bathroom is equipped with a good shower, mirrors, and bright lights.

Avie offers coffee and tea. Her large refrigerator, microwave, stove and stove top make it possible for guests to cook their own food. She advises those who visit to bring their groceries with them, as La Sal has only a tiny convenience store which is closed on Sundays.

In the evening, Avie invites you to spend a lovely evening under the stars. Relax around the firepit in the peace of the high desert.

Avie is located in a mini-RV park (five spaces total) located in an old and sparsely occupied subdivision of 1.5 acre lots in a small Utah ranching town with a population of about 300. We are at the foothills of the La Sal Mountains and Avie has a completely unobstructed view of this range.

The La Sal vibe: as in any rural community, old junk is seen as valuable assets, and "curb appeal" is not in the local vocabulary (actually we don't have curbs or street lights here, and half the town has dirt roads). But it is peaceful here, a refreshing get away. We have some of the darkest skies anywhere, and hours can go by with no traffic at all.

We have built a tall privacy fence so you don't have to look at our treasure. Looking north, east and west, Avie feels fairly secluded; houses are mostly obscured or out of sight in these directions. A row of large aspen trees runs along one side of the park obscuring our closest neighbor. Old house trailers are visible to the south (across the street), but Avie faces north with unobstructed views to the mountain. We are on the very northwest edge of this old community.
