Our home began as a 2-room log cabin, built from a dismantled barn, in 1910--not quite 20 years after the town of Tropic was first settled. Situated on a 1.3 acre lot with mature orchard trees, the house has been expanded/remodeled over the years to meet the needs of growing families. Rebecca's great grandmother "Aunt Dee" served as midwife to a number of babies born in the home. Previous occupants raised a family of 14 children here. We opened our home as a B&B September 2018 and have added 3 Sioux style Tipis for the 2019 season with the help of our tipi-expert brother-in-law.
