I loved staying here! I was fortunate to utilize both this glamp situation as well as the big green bus!
They're amazing hosts, it's a super quaint and scenic town only a few miles from one of the entrances of Zion, you can't beat the price, and they even have a bathroom for you! The fire area, chickens, and playground are just a huge bonus. If you're looking to visit Zion, you can't find a better basecamp. Just book it!

Also, the hosts' home, next to the big metal chicken. They have lots of real chickens too.Your home for the night. When you're arriving, it's hard to miss this chicken.

This spot was really unique with fun amenities (a trampoline, swings and a fire pit) and Dayna is a kind and gracious hostess. When the cold weather at night made it tricky to comfortably sleep in the bus, she moved us indoors and I loved that fresh veggies, eggs and coffee/tea were always available.

Thanks for your kind review. Sorry the weather was so miserable while you were here. Whenever we can we offer the cottage as a backup to those in the outdoor spots when it's too cold. Hopefully we get some sunshine and warmer days ahead. Thanks for choosing the Mardi Gras Room.

Thanks for you kind response, Mimi. We are definitely going to do something to make that bus warmer at night. I can't believe how cool it's been at night lately. Hotter than Hades in the day but chilly at night.

Dana and her husband are such incredible people - and the place is like a dream! Our friends and I had the Sunshine Room, The Mardi Gras retreat, and the Glamper - they were all wonderful! It’s a dreamland for my toddler and me alike! We all can’t wait to go back. Dana was beyond beyond accommodating, it’s so beautiful to know these people and this place exists in the world.

We enjoyed your family so much. And your dog Haley is the cutest and so well adjusted to a new place. I love your free range baby and all the fun ways you interacted. I hope you come back again someday.

The host and the place was spectacular. My husband and I were so pleased with the location in relation to Zion Nat'l Park/ shopping/eating/gas stations
The host provided any additional information we needed about the town and ZNP. Great bathroom with shower and kitchen with all amenities and more available as you need.
I would recommend anyone who loves a perfect mix between camping and in-home feel. Will definitely be going back!

This is the most amazing place you will ever stay at! The hosts Bill and Dana are incredibly kind, helpful and interesting people that I really enjoyed talking to. We got a lot of good tips of things to do in the area whole staying there. Amenities were great, clean kitchen and bathroom, and a BBQ outside aswell. Bed was supercomfortable and when we stayed in july the temperature was perfect in the bus at night. It’s actually not that hot in the area they live in. This place is also really close (like 10 min) to Kolob Canyons, in my opinion the most beautiful part of Zion NP! You have to go there atleast to the lookout to watch the sunset, it is great! (You can of course also go to ”regular Zion NP” it’s like a 50 min drive). We loved staying here, it really felt like a home away from home straight away! Thank you Bill and Dana!

We enjoyed both of you so much. I'm so glad you had a great time and weren't too hot in the bus, whcih can feel like a tin can sometimes. Guests like you help make this a great experience and worth the effort to be good hosts. I'm really glad you came.

We absolutely loved staying at this place. The hosts Dana made us feel comfortable. We came here from LA to do hiking in Zion. This place is better than camping as you get the homely feel and the whole place is so beautiful to stay.

Dana has painted and decorated the bus, house, surroundings. They provided us with fresh eggs, bread, coffee, fully functional kitchen, clean bathroom with a lot of supplies. Their house had a homely 1800s feel to it. There are chickens and a garden with a view of the mountains.

It is a perfect place to chill even with kids, as they had a swing set, trampoline, crayons, lot of play area.

I'm so glad you enjoyed our place, Maithry. We will definitely get more fans for the bus. It is a bit like a tin can and is either too hot or too cold for some. I hope you get to come back some day.
