Our land is in bottom of the 'bowl' of Cache Valley--equidistant between the Bear River Mountains to the east and Wellsville Mountains to the west. Shoshone Native Americans gathered, hunted and fished in this area. Though close to the south border of Logan, Grove Cottage is actually located in College Ward, an unincorporated community in Cache County. It received the name as a tract of 9,000+ acres Brigham Young owned and donated in 1877 for a local college. Pioneer settlers moved here in 1879. Our house was built in 1987 as part of a development of several houses along road, each with two acres for agriculture and livestock. We purchased the home in 2005, started planting trees and had an idea for a playhouse on the back acre. After a visit to some cabins in Vernal near Dinosaur Monument, our idea grew into a family cottage built in 2012. Then, it grew more as we decided to try sharing the space with others. We opened the cottage to short-term rental in September 2017 and love meeting adventurous folks!

Logan Grove Cottage

Loving Logan

We landed at Logan Grove Cottage after a week of primitive camping and cannot tell you how glorious this spot was! The property is absolutely beautiful from the moment you pull into the drive way (custom welcome sign – nice touch Jennifer!) to the walk to the cabin. What a great experience. Such a beautiful place to stay. Unfortunately we only had one night. Looking forward to coming back and staying longer!

This little cabin is AMAZING. Jennifer was a lovely host. The cabin was quiet, private and clean. I would love to go back. The land the cabin is on is gorgeous. We had a lovely sunset. Bedding and other amenities are provided and it was very comfortable.

Logan Grove Cottage

This cabin was such a pleasant surprise! We were not expecting it to be so private and welcoming. Jennifer is such a thoughtful host and their hobby farm is charming. I stayed here with a friend and we are both wanting to bring our families back to this spot ASAP! We both wished we had stayed longer.

Logan Grove Cottage

Jennifer and Tom were such kind and generous hosts. Their response time was incredibly quick for any communication leading up to my arrival and any inquiry or request once I had arrived. The cottage was spotless, cozy and warm upon my arrival and I was given a great overview of amenities/hikes in the area. The outdoor bathroom and shower were a true delight - Jennifer and Tom's upkeep of them was fantastic. They were very respectful of my privacy and let me know whenever they were headed back for any type of maintenance.
