Miles and miles of ATV trails in the area. An hour away is the Little Sahara Dunes. This is in a desert setting, where there can be critters, to include rabbits, lizards, spiders, flies and various other wildlife. This is more like camping with some nicer creature comforts like beds, blankets, wood burning stove etc. but not the complete comfort of a hotel. This is more like a state campground cabin. But with a few more amenities.

I actually didn't have the opportunity to stay at this location after a delayed flight changed some plans. But Karen was very accommodating about the situation and provided a refund which was greatly appreciated. Thanks Karen!
I had a lovely solo weekend at this cabin. The road to get out there was very muddy, but I also went during the winter season! So I had to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. I did bring my own wood, my own propane for the heaters and some extra cooking/eating equipment as well to supplement what was there! The bed was comfy, warm, bring an extra sleeping bag just in case to throw over you! The fireplace was awesome, kept the room warm and cozy, very efficient. The views were nice. Quiet and even got to hear some coyotes sing to me! The solar
Power pods were awesome and the night lights that all turned on with the sun going down! Truly a little gem! Will return!

Was great
We loved staying here for the week. With the parks closed, we didn't expect much besides a warm bed. Karen and her property were well beyond our expectations. As a host, she made sure we had everything we would need for our time there. The water she provided was more than enough, and her Power Pod kept our devices charged through the entire stay. We were never cold, as she provided us plenty of wood for the stove, and had a cache of portable heaters in case that wasn't enough.. The location right on the Sevier River was perfect as well. The birds greeted us every morning, and the sunsets marked the end of a great day.. We would love to stay again when Utah is ready for visitors..
Super private little cabin. Right next to an awesome river. We had lots of fun!
Great little stay! Spent two nights with my dogs and my mom. Super close to the river for fishing and about 19 mins to Yuba lake. I would definitely recommend bringing extra water and firewood. And definitely bring some extra butane if you plan on using the burners since they ran out quick.
It was a fun little getaway. Karen did an excellent job working hard on the cabin, and the scenery and seclusion made for a wonderful trip.
Great place for a weekend get away
As described, it is like camping but A LOT EASIER because the house is very well set up for your needs and is exactly as described.
Pulling out a couple of chairs from the kitchen at night and next to the fire pit to watch the stars and relax was my favorite part

Staying at the cabin was the best choice our family has made so far this summer! We enjoyed cooking over the firepit, catching a bucket full of catfish (tip: use live bait!) down the embankment, and relaxing without electronics for a few sun-soaked days. Driving 45 mins south, we got to dip in the Meadow Hot Springs and have a picnic lunch. We took a drive to nearby Yuba Reservoir and paid $10 (weekday) day use to swim at the beach and feed the seagulls while nearby cows moo'd a concert for us. Back at the cabin, my teenage son enjoyed the loft and his toddler sister named the tetherball "Watermelon" and played for hours. The solar lights and river-view bench give this cabin a charming and romantic feel.
