Casita Tara
Amazing stay with an amazing host
The stay was amazing! It was everything we wanted and more. The views were perfect, especially the solar shower with a view! Katherine was the nicest and so helpful, she even gave us a tour of her property. All around amazing stay and Katherine was the best!

Casita Tara
A magical place!
This place was magic! A gorgeous view and a very lovely casita. It gets hot in the afternoon but cools down pleasantly at night— especially after a solar shower. :) we parked at the bottom of the small hill and it was no problem getting up by foot with our items. Note that this property is about 45 min away from the Springdale Zion entrance (you have to go through the park!) but we woke up early each morning to do big hikes including the narrows and angels landing and made it with plenty of time. The casita was the perfect haven to escape the crowds and relax, cook, and star gaze. Katherine was so kind and thoughtful and the story behind the place is fascinating! Would love to come again!

Casita Tara
Beautiful Off-the-Grid Experience
My stay at Casita Tara was wonderful. .Katherine was very helpful with texting me additional directions when I needed them. The cabin is cute inside and the bed is comfy. Sitting on the front porch watching the red rock light up at sunset was magical. Katherine is friendly but will give you all the privacy you want. The solar shower and composting toilet are very private (and clean) , no worries at all having to cover up all the time. I thoroughly recommend visiting. 😊

Casita Tara
Lovely Casita with breathtaking vie
Kat was the most gracious, sweet host, we enjoyed sitting with her, chatting away, whilst watching the sunset and the stars.
Casita Tara is on the most beautiful spot, magical at night and breathtaking in the day. The skies are so clear the stars and moon are amazing. The sunrise is worth getting up for.
My husband loved cooking in the open at the kitchen at the back of the Casita. He had everything he needed. The compost toilet is well managed. We were sad to leave. This was certainly a highlight of our trip.

Casita Tara
Off grid and comfortable
Love living off grid for a short moment. being able to escape the crowded campsites during the summer season makes Casita Tara a great destination to stay while visiting Zion National Park. Will definitely be recommending to those with the intention to keep on a camping and self sustaining vibe!
