It’s no big surprise that many of the hot spots in Utah can get c-r-o-w-d-e-d. And why wouldn’t they? This state is fun and beautiful and just downright awesome! If you’re looking for a clean, quiet campground that’s still a stone’s throw away from the Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, Ponderosa Grove just might be the one. You’ll find this scenic little spot 15 miles outside of Kanab (which is worth a visit in it’s own right). It’s also an excellent place to stop off en route to Zion if you’re passing through. It’s a semi-primitive campground, meaning you’ll have picnic tables, fire rings, and pit toilets. However, there’s no water in these parts. Plan to bring your own, or snag some from the state park.
