Joe has worked extremely hard to make his land inviting and comfortable. It is truly a special place he has there. We will definitely come back, look through the ruins, and curate the "outdoor museum" with you again. My 2 daughters and I stayed 1 night and fell in love with this little corner of the canyonlands. Thanks for being such a wonderful host. The inviting, family-friendly atmosphere and camp setup is the perfect balance between privacy and community. If youre on the fence about this place, go meet Joe, River and Bear. Youll thank me.

Joe was one of the most coolest and friendly person I’ve ever met. He was a great host. Bear and River (his 2 dogs) were super friendly.

Best part : He set up a whole work station and WiFi!

If you wanna be adventurous, there are Indian roons behind the site itself.. You need to trek a bit and you get an amazing view.

Joe was so sweet and accommodating! The campsite was beautiful and the amenities were perfect. We would definitely stay again. He gave us sleeping bags that kept us warm all night and it got pretty cold (30-40 degrees). We had a fire pit stocked with kindling and wood! It was great!
