Right across the street from Johnson Valley Reservoir and surrounded by Fishlake National Forest, Paiute Rec Site Campground is all about proximity. A stay here will set you up with easy access to hiking and biking trails, fishing or swimming in the reservoir, and easy access to Fishlake Scenic Byway (rife with rad vistas and wildlife viewing). The high elevation makes temperatures nippy sometimes—so pack your warmest sleeping bag, snuggle into it on cold nights, and dream about all the fun activities the next day will bring!
