This is 10 acres in the shadow of the Pilot Peak mountain range. (Please read the instructions in the directions section to help find my place easier) Unless it's been taken down, I placed an UNOFFICIAL street sign called WARD ST to mark where you turn East off of Pilot Road. Once you turn east you keep going straight. There are detailed instructions in the directions section. WARD ST and GRIZZLY CHIHUAHUA LN will NOT show up on any GPS or map. Both are just markers I've placed to help people find their way. But there's some busybody locals who keep taking the signs down. The top of Pilot Peak is about a 4 mile trek from my property. I've never hiked it. There are different trees, rocks, bushes and some cactus here and there. Wild horses, Antelope, Cows and other wildlife roam the area. Beautiful view of Pilot Peak and the Toano Range to the West. It's about 7 miles from the property to the range. Murdock Mountain range is approx 13 miles away. Goshute Peak range starts about 15 miles away to more than 40 miles away. There are others you can look up. I share a west boarder with 320 acres of BLM land. You will need a 4x4 vehicle with decent clearance to traverse the 1.5 mile dirt road. It gets more rocky and bushy the closer you get to the property, and there's a small dip through a dry mountain run off. I've contemplated smoothing the road out but it acts as a deterrent for curious, uninvited guests, which helps the place stay, as it says in the title, "10 Acres of Soitude with a View." Here's a link to a Google map to the property. https://www.google.com/maps/d/drive?state=%7B%22ids%22%3A%5B%221Ous57Feo8o-WKwEdLh7bLG7sIL5pa0fF%22%5D%2C%22action%22%3A%22open%22%2C%22userId%22%3A%22105279542404124444464%22%7D&usp=sharing

If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Although we actually got a really late start and were unable to stay in Spanky's camp, he was a great host. Very communicative, friendly and understanding. He was easy to talk to and Elko (when we finally drove through a day late) was very beautiful!
Great...beautiful and serine
Site was great...beautiful and serine. Wish we had more time to climb the near by mountains.
Make sure vehicle has enough clearance. Road is very rocky and vehicles risk blowing a side wall or scraping bottom. We were able to navigate with a Honda Pilot but still had to thread the needle.
Spanky went out of his way to make sure that we got the directions we needed to get to the campsite. The cast campsite had a gorgeous view of Pilot Peak.
