The Good:
1) Location. It was right by the water.
2) Bathrooms/Shower. They were clean for a campsite. Except there wasn’t any soap in the bathrooms. That was dumb.

The Bad:
1) Site Upkeep. The site upkeep was awful. Our campsite was basically located in a patch a knee high weeds. Come on guys. You couldn’t even have run a weed eater through the sites? For $63 per night (after the unexpected fees that they tacked on) I would have expected things to be much better maintained. It really felt pretty trashy. It wouldn’t take much cleanup to make the water front and the campsites MUCH nicer.
2) Parking: parking is awful. You have to haul all your camping gear a million miles. If you have kids and tons of gear for the water, etc... (you are right at the beach after all) then expect to be really frustrated.

Sites do not have private beach, access to water is really hard from camping spot, it’s lots of bushes and so muddy. Parking lot and restrooms/showers are way to far from camping spots. No grill available. Hosts are really friendly. There sandy beach 5 minutes walking from the campsite. We enjoyed our trip anyways. I wish it’s could be cheaper. Doesn’t worth a price. It is 8 dollars more if you book online. I would recommend just show up and pay less, they always have spots available.

Nice clean hot showers, clean bathrooms, and our camp site was right on the beach which is a unique and hard to find experience. Some picnic tables are in need of refurbishment or replacement. Grass was high in camp site as we were the first of the season - would recommend they cut down the high grass before opening the camp in the future. Overall it was really fun!

This was a great spot. The bathrooms and showers(hot and tons of pressure) were super clean. The hosts were really nice. The campsites were well maintained. Overall it was a fantastic time.

The only downside was we thought we would be able to drive up to our site. They are walk in and we were car camping. Not a big deal this is more just a heads up. We would have gotten there much earlier (didnt get there until 8:30) if we would have known so we could set up a tent.

Overall a nice stay though.

They don't tell you that it's pack in, pack out. For a couple of oldies with bad backs, it was rough!! 15 trips back and fourth carrying all the camping gear was not fun. They do have wheelbarrows that you can use, but it was not easy with all the stuff we brought. The people next to us had around 40 people with them, we had 12 and after the neighbors left, the camp host came and was asking how many we had cause he was going to split us up!?! Also, we brought a four wheeler and was using it to haul our gear back and fourth at first, staying on the gravel trails only not the small walking paths, we did not drive over any living greenery and was only using it to transport gear as there were no signs saying it was not aloud. We got told by 4 different people that we couldn't use it....yeah, yeah, we got the point the first time we were told! After that they put up signs that said foot trail only. Just a little to up in your space for us to ever come back.
