Cindy’s place is an absolute gem of a property! The cowboy shack was just what we needed: a couple beds to recharge after weeks on the road. There is so much shared space outside from a mess hall of sorts, a massive fire pit, and a large lawn to relax and sprawl on. Everything was super clean and Cindy and Bob were easy to communicate with leading up to and during our stay! We also booked a horse trail ride with Jason who took us up the mountain on a beautiful and amazing ride. 10/10 would recommend staying here. Will be back
Cindy was a wonderful host, and this is a super nice property. Beyond the tent sites and tiny homes, there is a really nice food and game area with pingpong.
There is a large firepit area, and we met a lot of cool people there. Would definitely go again.
So I gave “accurate directions” a thumbs up because while Cindy was a superhero and directed us in safely and soundly, Waze lost its dang mind and tried to send us off into the boonies. I have no idea if Utah is like Texas, but going down random private roads can get hinky in my part of the country. Then, when I tried to reproduce the error after we got to the site, the app pretended like it never tried to set us up. Use Apple Maps, guys. This isn’t the host’s fault, btw. She was wonderful and had a sense of humor about the whole thing. The cabin was immaculate (no hyperbole, they’re obviously clean people in general, their land is very well taken care of), the shower was hot and had fantastic pressure, the animals were super friendly (including the chickens, which may only be a surprise to a city gal’s prejudices), and we slept soundly. If you get a chance, take a drive through the surrounding countryside. It’s gorgeous.
Had a great stay at the Cowboy Shack. Beautiful setting and lots of places to walk our dog. The cottage fitted our needs and we really utilized the club house. Bob was very welcoming and helpful.
Bob and Cindy were amazing hosts, great place for a rustic room for the night in a beautiful ranch. Amenities and service were well above what I expected and highly recommend staying here. It was absolutely lovely.
