Adorable mini dome home located within 30 mins of 3 separate ski resorts and a gorgeous view overlooking Pineview Reservoir. Enjoy a star-filled sky and stunning views. Mule deer, turkeys, rabbits and tons of summer humming birds are frequent visitors to this 1 acre property. Just 9 miles north of Ogden City, Huntsville is a quiet mountain town nestled in a valley with a 360 degree of the mountains. Book your relaxing get away in this unique and charming dome today!

The mini dome has been thoughtfully composed to provide a sense of coziness and relaxation while including all the necessary amenities for your stay. The dome is heated by a darling little gas stove that keeps the dome warm and cozy on winter days and an A/C window unit for the hot summer days. Enjoy the patio by watching the sunset over the lake or stargaze around the fire after a long day of hiking, skiing or swimming.

The mini dome is a guest house to a larger double-dome home. At this time we live in one dome and the other dome is vacant and unfinished. The vacant dome is the one located closest to the mini dome allowing for an even more private experience.

Dogs are welcome to stay with you in the mini dome, but we only ask that they do not be left alone inside the mini dome unless they are kenneled. We have had damage from an anxious pup left alone inside the dome. Please let us know if you'll be bringing your dog. Cat's are not allowed, as we have two large dogs that are NOT cat friendly.

***Parking during the winter*** if you have two-wheel drive do NOT pull your vehicle nose down towards the mini dome, you may get stuck in the snow trying to back out uphill. Instead park facing towards the lower driveway so that you have a downhill shot towards the road. (This will make more sense when you see it)

The mini dome is the cutest place to stay and was so fun for us! We enjoyed all the small touches the hosts have put into this place. They provide everything you could need and then some. Super friendly people who were happy to give us additional suggestions about the area. I’ll definitely be back if in the area.

The mini dome was well decorated and had everything we needed. Very comfortable and clean. The bathroom has the best view of the lake

Gorgeous mini dome. It felt homey and cozy. Despite being much closer to the large dome house than we expected, we never felt claustrophobic or crowded. Wifi wasn’t great, but there was plenty to keep us occupied. All in all, a great place to stay.

The Mini Dome in Huntsville is a lovely place to relax. The view is breath taking! My husband & I loved cooking over the fire & enjoyed the darling details in the cabin. Such a cozy, romantic place for a getaway. We had a fabulous time. Also, it was wonderful being so close to Pineview Reservoir where we kayaked. So grateful for such a wonderful vacation! We call this place the little Italy of Utah. ;)

What a dream! Such a romantic beautiful comfortable spot. After a few nights in a tent the dome provided real luxury and a view we sat and enjoyed at all hours of the day. Also loved grilling, we got local meat from Bingham’s and local produce from Better Food Farm - check em out! Also an amazing breakfast on our way out ( after sleeping like babies) at Pig and a Jelly Jar in Ogden. The best little side trip!!

Cady is a wonderful Host and was quick to respond to any questions I had before and after arrival. We never met, but they took special care to make sure the dome was well prepared for our stay - this place is stocked with everything! If you forget something, they probably have it! Be sure to pack charcuterie fixings - you’ll want to use their cute charcuterie board (there’s also a market very close by)!

The grill, patio, and fire pit area overlooks the most incredible views - my trip highlight was definitely cooking meals on the grill overlooking the Ogden Valley

If you’re into coffee, be sure to check out Eden Coffee and Cocoa! Their Lavender Latte is next level, and the staff there were rad and shared their favorite hiking spots.

We came in the off season, so we mostly wanted to relax and spend our entire stay cuddled up by the fireplace, but we made sure to get out and explore. There are gorgeous views everywhere you look! The dome is located very close to Snowbasin Resort and overlooks the Pineview Reservoir, so we'll definitely be back for more seasonal visits. About an hour drive (a beautiful one, too!) from SLC airport, so it’s an easy spot for a short trip. Thanks Cady!
