BaseCamp 37 was amazing! Amy was a fantastic host and very accommodating. The entire site is picture perfect and super comfortable - you can tell a lot of thought went into every single detail. It was the perfect getaway to recharge before heading back out on our adventure. Loved sitting on the porch, reading, sipping wine (and Rainier) and watching the sunset. Highly recommend!!
I couldn't imagine a more ideal glamping experience than BaseCamp 37. The host, Amy, has done such a great job anticipating the needs of her guests. From creating beautiful spaces to the small amenities like plenty of hooks for hanging things in the tent and providing lotion (it's very dry in the desert!). We loved having access to the shared kitchen with everything we needed to cook an easy post-hike meal (besides the food, obviously). The social spaces are very inviting and encourage you to get to know the other guests and trade stories about your travels, while the tents provide plenty of privacy and have comfortable places to sit and take in the scenery. The Josey Wales Tent may be the closest to the shared facilities, but it's positioned in a way that there's nothing blocking your view of the land and is a great spot for sunsets. This place even smells good from all the pine wood used in the construction. We'd love to go back someday!
BaseCamp 37 is an incredible place to stay! We only stayed for one night, but we wish it could have been so many more. The tents are a little oasis in the deserts that have been put together with such care and thought. The outhouse is stocked with all the essentials for you to enjoy stargazing with s'mores - what more can you want! We'd recommend to all! Thank you for an amazing trip!
